On Wednesday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m., beautiful Dixon Place theater in Manhattan will present Act I ("The Woman Who Lives By The Sea") of "Five Flights Up," Toni's fictional stage piece with actors, giant puppets, inspired by her book of the same name (Princeton Architectural Press), a collection of her award-winning Village Voice columns about how people live and survive in the city. Made possible by a grant from the Jim Henson Foundation.
